SOME OF MY WORK
WHAT I DO
I work to incorporate user research, UX design, AI, and usability in all types of products ranging from FDA-regulated spinal surgery robotic arms and other medical devices to financial investment applications, SaaS, and everything in between.
I’ve worked with companies to establish and develop new product design/UX teams and departments: tech companies such as Progress Software and Veeva; medical device/pharma companies such as Parexel, Merck, Amgen, and Bayer; and financial management companies such as Fidelity, State Street, and Chase. I’ve designed for both internal-facing (clinical research advisors, fund managers, etc.) and external, customer-facing, software, print collateral, and applications across the board.
MY BACKGROUND
My background is in graphic design and product design user experience/usability where I’ve combined iterative wire framing and interactive prototyping with a heavy focus on the human factor to ensure that whatever I design—with or without AI in whatever application: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Microsoft Office/PowerBI, or on the back of a napkin—provides a positive and effective user experience to end users. And I have tons of experience testing devices, apps, software, sites, material, etc. with representative end-users to establish both quantitative and qualitative data to support a specific design/direction.
Teams that I’ve been on and led utilize a number of different user research techniques to ensure that our clients’ goals from the vision phase are addressed and satisfied and that the collected observations and feedback from the evaluation phase are addressed by implementing both qualitative and quantitative testing.

I create wireframes and interactive prototypes at every level of fidelity—from rough sketches to detailed user flows—using industry-leading tools like Figma, Axure, XD, and Adobe Creative Suite. By tailoring each prototype to client needs and project goals, I ensure clear communication of design intent while providing an adaptable framework for iterative improvements. My approach not only addresses immediate usability challenges but also establishes a strategic vision that aligns stakeholders and drives long-term product success.
I collaborate with diverse users and user groups to deeply understand their expectations, needs, and behaviors through research, interviews, and usability testing. By analyzing this data, I craft personalized experiences that leverage AI-driven personalization, ensuring content and interactions are tailored to individual users. This approach enhances engagement, relevance, and satisfaction, ultimately driving user loyalty and long-term product success.
I conduct a wide range of usability testing methods—including moderated and unmoderated sessions, in-person and remote testing, A/B testing, and card sorting—to gain deeper insights into how users interact with applications and websites. By analyzing user behaviors, pain points, and preferences, I can then refine designs to enhance usability and overall user experience. This data-driven approach ensures that every design decision is informed, optimizing functionality and engagement for diverse user needs.
